Tonight, a friend and a brother lies in an intensive care unit at the hospital. I'm sure that to a lot of the doctors and nurses there he is just another bike vs. car victim, but, I'm equally sure that after seeing the amount of love and concern shown by his brothers, sisters and friends , that they now realize he is not just another motorcycle rider, but rather a part of a brotherhood that truly lives by their creed of "cut one and we all bleed". I have known Pistolero Kurt for many years and count myself lucky to be called his friend. I wish that the world at large could feel the love and respect that is shown among the Red and Gold for one of their own and learn from it. If they could, we would all be living in a better place. To all of the Pistoleros, those that I've known or met, and to those that I haven't, I send my deepest most sincere concern for your fallen brother and to Pistolero Kurt I can only say that I love you son and hope we can ride again soon. We had a great week-end at the Faunsdale Rally. It was great being with family again. PBOL Lisa, thanks for all your help with the support table...one phrase comes to mind when I think of you....Geterdone...to the Pistolero ol ladies that helped out with the table, you gave freely of your time, I really appreciate it.
